Now, Galtier is the man who has been trusted to take over at PSG, strongly supported by the new sporting director Luis Campos. Campos and Galtier had worked together previously when they combined at Lille to create the team that pipped PSG to the Ligue 1 title by a point in 2020/2021. The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has raised hopes of students that it is close to calling off the ongoing strike action that has lasted for over three months. At the close of transactions yesterday, the All Share Index (ASI) decreased by 38.22 absolute points, representing a dip of 0.07 per cent to close at 51,791.45 points. Similarly, the market capitalisation lost N21 billion to close at N27.921 trillion. The downturn was impacted by losses recorded in medium and large capitalised stocks, amongst which are; Nigerian Breweries, Conoil, Lafarge Africa, Red Star Express and Cutix Plc.
